"ALL FOOD IS HOMEMADE & INSPIRED BY THE SOUTH"
Brenda (Portasica) Kephart grew up in the charming historic village of Medina,New York. One of four children and a graduate of Medina High School, she had a dream of one day opening a BBQ business to share her passion with others. She spent countless hours outside her own home with a small Masterbuilt smoker testing recipes with the help of taste buds from her family and friends, In 2013 she took the first leap to make her dream a reality and drove 23 hours to Houston, Tx for BBQ school. Learning all the ins and outs of smoking meat and doing it all with love, she left Texas with even more ambition and a low and slow fire in her belly. She opened her B & B BBQ trailer and served Medina for five years before switching gears to a brick and motor in the next town and county over. With ALOT of help of her husband Robert(Bob), son Jim(assisit manager), and several other friends and family, they tackled an extensive remodel of the Route 31 restaurant in Middleport. Staying true to the casual atmoshere it was remodeled to house, the restaurant is available for take-out with bar-like seating and a few tables available for yoyur dine-in needs. Since the restaurants' grand opening during Labor Day weekend they've been serving thier original BBQ favorites. Gracing the menu are BBQ ribs, chicken, brisket, and pulled pork. With side options of BBQ beans, coleslaw, potato salad, mac and cheese, boccoli salad, and plain and jalapeno corn muffins. If your in the mood for something new you can bless your taste buds with a hot bowl of Brunswick Stew or pulled pork wrap with BBQ sauce, ranch dressing, shredded chedder cheese, and a homemade jalapeno salsa. They are working on a hushpuppy recipe and sampler platters. Additionally Brenda , Bob and the entire staff couldn't be more thanksfulkfor the sacrifice our service men and women make everyday to keep us safe. In honor of that, it is thier pleasure to serve any military or police officer in uniform thier meal for free.
